Austria's cult event – the WILDSTYLE & TATTOO FAIR – returns to the Vienna Stadthalle for an encore of its 30th anniversary celebrations, following its 30th anniversary year.
WILDSTYLE is now one of Austria's longest-running and one of only a handful of annual show productions, still thrilling thousands of visitors year after year, even after more than three decades!
The grand 30th anniversary of the Wildstyle & Tattoo Fair was undoubtedly a milestone for Wildstyle founder & producer Jochen Auer and the Wildstyle crew – but it's far from over.
In 1995, the WILDSTYLE & TATTOO MESSE was Austria's first tattoo event and one of only a handful of tattoo shows in Europe. NOBODY believed it would happen, except for Jochen Auer, of course :-)) EVERYONE advised him against it in 1995 – but he knew better :-) ...or rather, he took the risk anyway, and now, 31 years later, Wildstyle is still going strong! Amazing!!
Over the past 31 years, WILDSTYLE has truly left its mark, making the world a more colorful place in many ways, connecting people from all over the globe, and, not least since the 1990s, significantly contributing to the mainstreaming of tattooing!
With more than 3 million visitors, the WILDSTYLE & TATTOO MESSE is the most successful tattoo show in Europe – if not the world!
WILDSTYLE & TATTOO MESSE Wildstyle 2026 at Vienna's Stadthalle on September 5th & 6th, 2026, will once again eclipse everything that has come before!!
Dozens of tattoo artists and exhibitors from 25 countries and 5 continents, the crème de la crème of the international tattoo scene, international star guests, cult figures, and Wildstyle fans, a sensational and non-stop show program with freak shows, acrobats, and showgirls, the European Street Food Festival with free admission in the outdoor area, and last but not least, fantastic live concerts every Saturday and Sunday evening directly on the Wildstyle stage!! – without any additional admission fee! – YES! The live concerts are already included in the Wildstyle admission price!! And all bands will play full-length concerts with all the classics.

DESTRUCTION – one of the longest-serving and most legendary thrash metal bands in the world!! In 2014, Destruction recorded a song called "Wildstyle" specifically for the Wildstyle & Tattoo Fair, for the CD "The Ultimate Tattoo Sound Pt. 1 - Wildstyle & Tattoo Music," and they will finally thrill the Wildstyle audience live again on Wildstyle Sunday in Vienna.

Jochen Auer (inventor & producer of the Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe) would have never thought that his idea and concept would make such an impact, reach millions of people and help to gain tolerance – and most of all make the world a more colorful place! A lot of people don't like this and the popularity of tattoos but the crazy idea from back in the days turned into reality and the WILDSTYLE is still on tour.
In the middle of the 90s the Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe was THE flash point of the tattoo hype that continues until today. An incredible 2 million (!!) visitors have seen the Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe live until today – which makes Wildstyle Europe's most successful tattoo show!!
How is that even possible – not only Jochen Auer asks himself that but many others too.

WILDSTYLE & TATTOO MESSE – the epitome for a European, if not worldwide unique idea comes back to Austria in 2024 after the huge success of the last years!!
Wildstyle merges different cultures and artists, tattoo artists and exhibitors from 4 continents and over 20 countries in an incredible way! For now 25 years the name "Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe" stands for "International Festival of Tolerance"!
Tattoos, piercing, extravagant fashion, biker wear, club wear, shoes, jewelry, accessories, lingerie, Metal & Rockabilly style, custom bikes & accessories, airbrush, tattoo models and a spectacular and also unique nonstop show program – performed by freaks, artists, acrobats and showgirls with unique stunts and attractions will fascinate the audience also in 2025!
In 1995 Jochen Auer (creator and producer of Wildstyle) wrote what was probably one of the craziest show concepts of that time and was able to get 2 million visitors. The revolutionary concept and the long tours through Europe helped changing history and the acceptance of tattoos and piercings and made both trends more accessible to a broader public.
However, tattoos and piercings and the "wild" lifestyle still polarize, the reason why Jochen Auer and his team still organize the "Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe" in its 30th year.
Having tattoos means much more than wearing colorful pictures on your skin, it has become way more than a trend and no part of society or occupational group can get away from it.
